TWIRL INVENTors! SUMMER CAMPs

Twirl Summer Camps are designed to encourage kids to use creativity and imagination as they turn ideas into inventions in a super-fun and engaging setting.

June 5-8 Inventors! Camp 1 Boys and Girls, 1st and 2nd grade

June 12-15 Inventors! Camp 1 Boys and Girls, 3rd and 4th grade

June 19-22 Inventors! Camp 1 Boys and Girls, 5th and 6th grade

June 26-29 Inventors! Camp 2 Girls only, 1st - 3rd grades

July 10-13 Inventors! Camp 2 Girls only, 4th - 6th grades

July 17-20 Inventors! Camp 2 Boys and Girls, 1st and 2nd grade

July 24-27 Inventors! Camp 2 Boys and Girls, 3rd and 4th grade

Please note - for all camps, grade specified is grade level child is entering in Fall 2017.

What can you expect at a Twirl Inventors! Camp?

Every day involves creative play, hands-on exploration, skill-building, collaborative team challenges, a take-home project and, did we say this already, lots of fun! A different theme will be explored each day.

Inventors! Camp 1

Daily Themes: Robot Rock, Toy Tinkering, Super Engineer, Crazy Reactions

Inventors! Camp 2

Daily Themes: Build It, Solar Power Up, Tech Style, 3-2-1 Blast Off!

Each camp day is broken up into four fun-filled sessions:

PLAY! We start our day with open-ended play and experimentation as campers familiarize themselves with materials and concepts related to the theme of the day.

CREATE! Campers develop and build technical skills as they tackle a fun, take-home project.

COLLABORATE! Using their newly acquired skills and observations, teams work together on a timed challenge with unlimited possibilities!

EXPLORE! Imaginations continue to spark as campers delve deeper into the daily theme through testing of variables and further explorations, and the opportunity to reflect on and share their observations.

Camp 1 and Camp 2 cover different topics so campers are welcome to sign up for both camps.

The cost is $160 for the 4-day camp, running Monday - Thursday, 9 - 4 pm. T-shirt included!

President's Day Inventor's challenge Day Camp ENTRIES!

27 aspiring inventors had a blast at our Inventor's challenge camp on President's Day! We guess spring must have been in the air because there were plenty of ingenious inventions for cleaning bedrooms and helping around the house! Everyone had a blast and we'll definitely be doing it again.

2016's Summer Camps at Twirl were very busy and great fun for all! Close to 100 kids ages 6-12 invented, programmed, built and played with Twirl and Explora all summer long!
