Twirl’s Nature Creatures
for The Paseo 2023

If you could be any creature, what would you be? Would you live on the ground or up in a tree? What’s your story and what makes you tick? Can you create it with mosses and sticks?

Thanks to all who came out for Twirl's Nature Creatures for the Paseo 2023! The festival saw thousands of people and Twirl's exhibit in Kit Carson Park was packed with creative folks of all ages making creatures in to the night! We congratulate the Paseo Team for a job well done! Please have a look at our instagram @twirleye for more awesome pictures from the festivities (reel posted 9/18) and stop by Twirl to see the big creatures in the courtyard and many of the magical creatures made by the community at The Paseo. Thank you to Taos kids and families for sharing their stories, voices and creativity! Watch the Nature Creatures video and hear some of the wild stories that these creative kids came up with!

The Paseo is an annual festival dedicated to bringing installation, projection, and performance art to the streets of Taos. https://paseoproject.org/

Every year, Twirl partners with The Paseo to provide a collaborative art installation and educational programs to engage some of our community's youngest members and their families in the festival. Twirl develops a concept and curriculum for in-school and family engagement events that infuses learning with play, art and movement and provides an opportunity for participants to contribute to the final installation.
